24 Hour Off Licences in Wales
Welcome to 24 Hour Alcohol, the place to find your local 24 hour off licence and alcohol delivery service in Wales. Locate supermarkets, convenience stores, garages and booze delivery services licensed to sell alcohol 24 hours.
IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION REGARDING ALCOHOL SALES TIMES IN WALES: Due to Welsh COVID-19 regulations, all retailers, including superstores, supermarkets, convenience stores, garages etc. must stop selling alcohol every night between the hours of 10pm-6am. Therefore our database of shops licensed to sell booze 24 hours in Wales sadly won't help you buy alcohol at night while the temporary restrictions are in place. The Welsh alcohol curfew should hopefully be lifted in late April 2021. Shops in England are unaffected so remain free to continue to sell alcohol 24 hours a day.

Want to buy booze “after hours” but not sure where to find your nearest 24 hour shop that serves alcohol all night? No problem, we’ve got it covered! From North Wales to South Wales, the above map shows the locations of all 24 hour off licences in the whole of Wales. So now you can locate all supermarkets, convenience stores, corner shops, grocery stores and petrol station forecourts/garages that are licensed to sell alcohol 24 hours a day. Depending on your location, you may even be able to use a drink delivery service (see alcohol delivery in Wales) to get beer, wine and spirits delivered to your door, if you don’t feel like going out to a 24 hour supermarket or convenience store to buy booze (or if you’ve already been drinking, so can’t drive and can’t be bothered to take a taxi).
Order from Beelivery to get alcohol, tobacco, snacks & groceries delivered in as little as 15-60 minutes. Open 24/7. Delivery now available to 90% of UK households.
Please note that Tesco & Asda are the only large supermarket chains that usually operate 24 hour stores but both companies stopped opening all night at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Around half of all Asda stores that opened 24 hours pre-coronavirus have returned to 24 hour trading. Tesco only resumed 24 hour opening at some superstores in the run up to Christmas but have now gone back to reduced opening hours at all but 7 stores in the whole of England & Wales. Many other 24 hour shops in our database are still open for business as usual, however, some retailers reduced their opening times during lockdown, therefore we highly recommend phoning ahead to check that your local 24hr shop is open as normal to avoid a wasted journey. If you spot any errors with our database, please hit the Report Incorrect Data button to quickly let us know. Cheers!
Don’t forget, due to Sunday trading regulations in England & Wales, large supermarkets aren’t allowed to open 24 hours on Sundays, which obviously isn’t any help when you want to buy booze late on Saturday night (or the early hours of Sunday morning), however, small convenience stores and petrol filling stations can open 24/7, as they’re exempt from Sunday trading restrictions. We’ve tried to list opening times where possible but it’s always best to double check yourself, if you’re going out on a specific journey to buy booze late at night. Please let us know if you spot any errors.
