Since the pandemic Asda is now the only large supermarket chain with superstores open 24 hours (except Saturday & Sunday nights due to Sunday trading laws) but there are a growing number of 24hr convenience stores and petrol filling stations with 24 hour alcohol licences open for business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even on bank holidays, so in many areas you shouldn't have a problem finding booze anytime of night. We always recommend calling the premises listed in our database before you set off just to double check that your local shop is open 24 hours (even 24 hour shops have to close occasionally).
