24 hour off licences in Sussex
Welcome to 24 Hour Alcohol, the place to find your local 24 hour off licence and booze delivery service in Sussex.
In England there are no COVID-19 restrictions on alcohol sales times in shops, so they are still permitted to sell alcohol at their usual times. Therefore supermarkets, convenience stores, petrol station forecourts & delivery services with 24 hour alcohol licences can continue to sell alcohol all night. There was a temporary alcohol sales ban in Wales between 10pm-6am every night, but it ended on 26 April 2021.
Map of all 24 hour off licences in Sussex
The above map shows the locations of all Sussex off licences that are licensed to sell alcohol 24 hours a day by the licensing authorities covering Brighton & Hove, East Sussex and West Sussex. If you would rather view a list of 24 hour off licences, you can do so by selecting one of the following areas of Sussex: Brighton & Hove, East Sussex or West Sussex. Please be aware that many shops have decided not to stay open all night, even though they have a 24 hour alcohol licence, so it’s always a good idea to phone your chosen shop before you set off. There are a few 24 hour off licences in Sussex that even offer a late night alcohol delivery service! Take a look at All Night Booze Delivery to see if there is a company offering to deliver to your location at this time.
Please note that Tesco & Asda are the only large supermarket chains that usually operate 24 hour stores but both companies stopped opening all night at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Around half of all Asda stores that opened 24 hours pre-coronavirus have returned to 24 hour trading. Tesco only resumed 24 hour opening at some superstores in the run up to Christmas but have now gone back to reduced opening hours at all but 7 stores in the whole of England (none in Wales). Many other 24 hour shops in our database are still open for business as usual, however, some retailers reduced their opening times during lockdown, therefore we highly recommend phoning ahead to check that your local 24hr shop is open as normal to avoid a wasted journey. If you spot any errors with our database, please hit the Report Incorrect Data button to quickly let us know. Cheers!

Please Note: Just because a shop is listed as having a 24 hour alcohol licence doesn’t necessarily mean that the shop is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It’s up to each individual shop to decide whether or not it uses its 24 hour alcohol licence. It’s also worth noting that large 24 hour supermarkets (Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda) are not open all night on Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays (due to Sunday trading laws in England and Wales), so are only useful (for 24 hour alcohol) on weekdays or Friday nights. We’ve tried to list the phone number for each 24 hour off licence so you can confirm opening times before setting off on your quest for 24 hour booze.
